With a sailing history that first began in 1840, Cunard Line is one of the more recognized brand names in the cruise industry, and proudly offers “The Most Famous Ocean Liners in the World.” Cunard Line’s fleet of 3 ocean liners includes the Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mary 2 (QM2), and the Queen Victoria. All of Cunard Line’s ships feature their well known Princess Grills and Queens Grill accommodations and exclusive dining.
Known for their gourmet cuisine, the Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 also feature the only Todd English Restaurants at sea, with cuisine designed by renowned Chef Todd English. Cunard Line has a reputation for personalized service, luxurious accommodations, and attention to detail; their fleet is well known for their more exotic and wide range of extensive cruise itineraries including transatlantic crossings and World Cruises.
When the QM2 was launched in January 2004, Cunard Line saw a large increase in passengers (70%) who had never sailed with the line before. At that time the QM2 was the most expensive ship ever built (at a cost of $800 million) and she had been carefully designed to offer several “firsts” – the first Canyon Ranch Spa at sea, along with the Todd English Restaurant, in addition to a full scale planetarium onboard, and productions staged by the Royal Theatre. The Queen Victoria followed in 2007, and when the Queen Elizabeth debuted in 2010, she was christened by Her Majesty the Queen.
